Highlights
Why I teach at Covenant Theological Seminary
My passion is to help students see two things: first, the only hero in the Christian story is Jesus—as a result, we are able to approach the church’s history with great confidence that if God can use broken people, he can use you and me; and second, as students explore the beliefs, practices, and stories of the Christian tradition, they will gain wisdom and insight to see "who I am and what God is calling me to do in ministry." Church history is actually a practical ministry discipline.
