Ministry Resources Search Help
In response to the many requests for help in filtering the search results for the Ministry Resources database, we have restructured the search form so you may specify certain criteria in your search.
- Topic selection allows you to specify that the results are files which have been classified with the topic you select. The default value of "All Topics" will not restrict by assigned topic.
- Scripture selection allows you to specify that the results are files which have been classified with the book of Scripture you select. The default value of "All Scripture" will not restrict by Scripture.
- Author/Speaker selection allows you to specify that the results are files which have been presented by the person you designated. The default value of "All Speakers/Authors" will not restrict by Speaker/Author.
- Title/Series/Keyword input allows you to enter a word or phrase that you are looking for in either the resource's title or the series of which the resource is a part (e.g., Connect Conference) or keywords associated with the topic (e.g., "faith," "hope," "love").
- File Type selection allows you to specify that the results are files of the type you select. Currently we offer PDF files for print and MP3 files for audio. The default value of "All Files" will not restrict by file type.
To return a list of all resources on file, you can simply click the search button with no selections or input.
The more criteria you select before clicking the search button, the fewer the list of results. For example, if you are looking for a message by Bryan Chapell that had something to do with Christmas, you could select Bryan Chapell from the Author/Speaker drop-down menu and enter Christmas in the Title/Series/Keyword box. The result is a list of two resources that apply. If you don't see the message you are looking for in that result, you may want to delete your input in the Title/Series/Keyword box and search using only Bryan Chapell selected from the Author/Speaker drop-down menu. Then you can look through everything on file for Bryan Chapell.
