Ashley Wilkinson

Internship Coordinator

Ashley Wilkinson earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri. She also holds a BA in Psychology from Liberty University.

In addition to her work with Covenant Seminary practicum and intern students she provides local counseling with Generations Counseling. As a counselor she has worked with children, adolescents, individuals, and families in St. Louis and the surrounding area. She is an EMDR therapist who has also received extensive training in biblical theology, play therapy, sand tray therapy, internal family systems, and trauma-informed care. Her passion is to work collaboratively with people to help them find transformative healing through cohesive creative expression. Ashley believes that the power for change occurs within relationship and that connection and trust are built primarily through Spirit-led curiosity and compassion.

Ashley has a deep love and appreciation for higher learning as well as a thirst for excellence in the field of Christian Counseling. She is excited to guide and learn from the MAC students as Practicum and Internship Coordinator.

Ashley grew up in Tennessee and is an ardent lover of the music and theatre. She currently resides in Kirkwood with her husband, Dave, and their two sons. Some of her favorite things include playing chase or going to the park with her boys, watching British comedy shows with Dave, reading a good fantasy series, and finding the best local sushi spots.
