Chapel Coordinator
The Office of the Dean of Students at Covenant Seminary is seeking applications for the position of Chapel Coordinator. This is a part-time position planning and leading chapel services. We value team cooperation, commitment to excellent work, and dedication to the Seminary’s mission of training pastors and leaders for Christ’s church and Kingdom.
Department Goals and Responsibilities
The Office of the Dean of Students represents Covenant Theological Seminary to all students residentially or online. The Chapel Coordinator serves student life by leading the weekly chapel services of the seminary through helping plan the liturgy for worship, coordinating the music and worship team, and assisting in special events (e.g. convocation, commencement, day of prayer, etc.). In addition, the Chapel Coordinator is committed to the mission and vision of Covenant Theological Seminary and exemplifies characteristics of a biblical leader. The Chapel Coordinator will be reviewed annually after the Spring semester.
Pay: Pay for the Chapel Coordinator position is hourly and will require 10–15 hours of work per week each semester.
Position Responsibilities
Work with the Dean of Students and the chapel committee to execute the chapel services.
Assure that the AV (including PowerPoint or Keynote) for all chapel services is in good order.
Use Planning Center for chapel service communication.
Meet with and screen interested students for serving in chapel services.
Plan, organize, and coordinate other on-campus and online recruitment events as requested.
Participate and play an active role in Covenant Seminary’s student events.
Coordinate with the Communications department concerning chapel services.
Minimun Qualifications
Exhibits excellent personal relationship, communication, and public speaking skills.
Previous worship leading experience including playing an instrument.
Strong time management skills, adaptable, and works well independently.
Adaptable to different situations.
Has strong computer skills and is able to learn to use PowerPoint/Keynote and basic AV knowledge.
Has strong character, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Possesses theological awareness.

Customer Service Administrator
Covenant Seminary seeks a part-time (8–12 hours/week) Customer Service Administrator to assist the Business Office in creating and maintaining accurate and timely financial records for the Seminary while at the same time being the first customer service contact point for One-Stop, the student services area in which the Business Office is located. This position reports to the Controller.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitor Business office and One-Stop email inboxes and determining best course of action for correspondence received.
Promptly and professionally receive calls, emails, and greet visitors, directing them appropriately. This will require a) becoming very familiar with MyCTS and the Seminary website, taking initiative to answer questions where possible, b) helping to cover questions related to student billing, c) familiarity with and adherence to FERPA so that education verification questions can be answered
Monitor, track, record and reconcile staff expense reports and correct discrepancies.
Bookkeeping and reconciliations for guest housing and housing deposits, working closely with the facilities department.
Processing and reconciling Square card and cash receipts received through the Café, Library, etc. including counting cash on hand.
Process and prepare accounting records including reconciliations.
Establish records of accounts and input entries to proper accounts.
Document and ensure proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies.
Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.

This is a part-time position. Typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The part-time work hours are expected to be within that time frame and thus the employee is expected to be available during the “core” work hours.

Admissions Counselor
The Department of Admissions at Covenant Seminary is seeking applications for a part-time (20 hrs./week) Admissions Counselor. We value team cooperation, commitment to excellent work, and dedication to the Seminary’s mission of training pastors and leaders for Christ’s church and Kingdom.
Department Goals and Responsibilities
The Admissions Counselor represents Covenant Theological Seminary to prospective students, applicants, and incoming students; identifies and serves prospective students by informing them of Seminary programs, admissions processes, seminary life, financial aid, and encouraging them to apply; and helps applicants submit all necessary credentials for admission, evaluates applicants for admission, and facilitates the matriculation of accepted applicants. In addition, all Admissions Counselors are responsible for representing the Seminary in the field to the public.
Position Responsibilities
Work with the Director of Admissions and the Senior Director of Enrollment Management to execute and implement the strategic enrollment plan.
Collaborate and maintain recruitment guidelines and goals to use for future recruitment efforts.
Manage admissions accounts to guide applicants through the application process, counsel them regarding degree program choice, and facilitate the matriculation of accepted students.
Use the Customer Relationship Management system to help keep track of communication to prospective students and necessary data for reporting for each applicant.
Review prospective student applications for admission.
Research and verify the accuracy of application information. Follow-up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing information
Coordinate applicant approval process with various educational departments as needed.
Meet with prospective students through scheduled appointments to introduce them to the seminary, give counsel regarding degree program choice, answer questions, and provide a tour of the campus.
Plan and coordinate Preview Days and new student orientations with various departments and delegating tasks among teams.
Coordinate campus visits.
Represent the Seminary on field visits, including transportation, setup, and takedown of Seminary recruiting displays and publications; reinforce Seminary ties on such field trips (e.g., with alumni and college faculty).
Plan, organize, and coordinate other on-campus and online recruitment events as requested.
Participate and play an active role in Covenant Seminary’s student events.
Train other Admissions Team and Student Ambassadors on campus tours etiquette and procedures.
Carry out additional special events or projects as assigned by the Director of Admissions and the Senior Director of Enrollment Management.
Minimum Qualifications

Visual Media Producer

Position Summary
The Office of Communications at Covenant Theological Seminary is seeking applications for the role of Visual Media Producer. This position will be the lead creator, producer, and editor of visual media content—including but not limited to video, motion graphics, photography, and some graphic design—for the Seminary. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, the producer spearheads all visual media production, development, and design for external and internal communications needs.
As part of the communications and marketing team, the producer will work closely with the advancement and enrollment teams to create compelling visual media for institutional development and student recruitment strategies. The salary for the Visual Media Producer is commensurate with experience.
Position Responsibilities
Function as the primary in-house videographer and/or photographer for a wide range of Seminary events, both on and off campus.
Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Marketing to conceptualize, storyboard, and shoot videos and photos.
Compile and edit video footage into compelling pieces that meet industry standards and effectively communicate the Covenant Seminary story, ethos, and brand.
Compile and edit photos to comply with Covenant’s brand as well as industry standards for photography.
Collaborate across teams and departments to brainstorm and create content for Seminary announcements, student recruitment, institutional development and fundraising, and more.
Help to build and manage a library of high-quality visual content for use across multiple channels, including the Seminary website, social media platforms, digital advertisements, magazines and other print projects, and more.
Help to procure and collaborate with partners and contractors to assist in media production when necessary.
Manage and assist in all aspects of visual media post-production, including editing, motion graphics, and some graphic design.
Provide A/V support as needed across the Seminary.
Assist in managing departmental budget details related to equipment such as cameras, lenses, microphones, and other essential items.
Periodically evaluate equipment needs, purchase new equipment, and liquidate equipment that is outdated, redundant, or of no future use.
Contribute to the development of visual media brand standards and best practices for the Seminary.
Minimum Qualifications
Personal:
A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a modest understanding of Reformed and Presbyterian theology.
Passionate about Covenant Theological Seminary: its people, values, and mission.
Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills. Clear and warm communicator in professional and personal situations.
Highly dependable and adaptable; works well independently and with others.
Innovative, entrepreneurial, and creative; capable of taking the lead on projects while considering and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
2-5 years of experience producing high-quality visual media content in a full-time, agency, or freelance setting. Experience working with educational and/or faith-based organizations is preferred.
Strong computer skills and extensive experience with at least one editing platform. Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
Experience using DSLR cameras and other audiovisual equipment.
Ability to present examples of previous work in a digital portfolio prior to an interview is strongly preferred.
Physical*:
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift at least 35 lbs and walk reasonable distances while carrying equipment.
Position may be required to travel up to several days at a time and work evening and weekend assignments as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
A seminary degree or graduate degree in theology and/or biblical studies is desirable. Experience working with faith-based institutions may be substituted.
