Deena began her career in development as a Director with the YMCA program in Exton, Pennsylvania, in 1978. She then served as founding Executive Director of the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center, and in 1992, transitioned to Director of Development for Knox Seminary. She holds a BA in Business Management and has completed course work at the National Planned Giving Institute at The College of William and Mary. Deena’s mission statement is, “To connect the heart of the donor to the needs of the Seminary,” a purpose which fuels her passion for seminary education to secure the future foundation of Christ’s church.

Deena was married to her late pastor-husband, Bob, for 44 years. They have three amazing children and nine amazing grandchildren.
