In honor of the late Dr. David C. Jones, long-time Professor of Systematic Theology at Covenant Seminary, we are pleased to announce a new edition of the David C. Jones Theology Lectures for 2024!

Speaker: Dr. Steven Duby, Associate Professor of Theology at Phoenix Seminary, and author of Jesus and the God of Classical Theism

All are invited to join us for this time of theological reflection and exploration as Dr. Duby discusses the relation between Christ’s person and work and some of the recent christological debates over the hypostatic union.

• Thursday, February 29, 4 – 5:30 p.m.— Lecture 1: “Hypostatic Unity and the Saving Work of Christ”

• Friday, March 1, 11 a.m. – 12;30 p.m. — Lecture 2: “Life-Giving Flesh: Deity, Humanity, and the Efficacy of the Atonement”
