Speakers: Chris Morrison, Area Coordinator for RUF-I; Kirk Norris, RUF-I Campus Minister, Washington University in St. Louis; Andrew Terrell, RUF-I Campus Minister, Vanderbilt University; Lee Leadbetter, RUF-I Campus Minister, University of Tennessee; Ian Hammond, RUF-I Campus Minister, Northwestern University
Join us for lunch (Chinese food from Cate Zone) to discuss how you can apply your seminary training to the work of cross-cultural evangelism, hospitality, discipleship, teaching, and more. The nations are already gathered here on our college campuses. Will we share Christ with them? The story at the bottom of this page shows why.
Meet with Chris Morrison: Chris will be available on campus Wednesday, March 5, 2 – 6 p.m., to meet with anyone who wants to follow up from the lunch or was unable to attend the lunch. Text him at: 214.693.7662.
“I’ve been researching Christianity online but I’ve never met an actual Christian until today.” This is a real quote from an East Asian student on his first day of grad school at an Ivy League university. After deep involvement with an RUF-I ministry, just two years later he was secretly baptized in an underground church back in his home country that is legally closed to Christian missions. Not all RUF-I student stories end this way but it displays the unique and pressing opportunity that is waiting in the backyards of our local churches.
